A specialized Lebanese Army unit dismantled two unexploded aerial bombs in Kafra, in the Bint Jbeil district, according to a statement issued by the Army Command's Directorate of Orientation on August 17.

The Army identified the devices as remnants of Israeli attacks. Its recent public warnings have repeatedly urged people in affected southern areas to keep away from suspicious objects and report them to the nearest military post.

Unexploded ordnance can remain lethal long after an attack. Members of the public should not touch, move or attempt to identify a suspicious object themselves.
