Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces said the Information Branch detained a suspect in an investigation into property stolen from vehicles after their windows were broken in Mount Lebanon.
The June 22 statement cited the theft of a bag from a vehicle in Dbayeh and another reported theft in Zouk Mosbeh. Investigators said a Nissan vehicle was used in the incidents.
Following surveillance, a branch patrol arrested the suspect in Nabaa on June 10 while he was in a black Nissan Tiida, according to the ISF. Officers reported seizing screwdrivers and a mobile phone.
The statement attributed admissions concerning theft and fraud to the suspect and said he was referred to the competent authority under judicial instructions. The account is an official allegation, not a final court finding.
