The Information Branch detained a suspected drug dealer in Ouzai after field and intelligence work, the Internal Security Forces said in a statement published on August 21.
The ISF said the arrest took place on August 17 while the suspect was allegedly dealing drugs from a motorcycle. Officers then searched a residence in Mreijeh.
According to the statement, officers seized packets described as containing cocaine, hashish and other narcotic substances, as well as a mobile phone, cash and an inventory sheet. The suspect and seized items were referred to the competent authority under judicial instructions.
